Cities are the business hub of the society since they are responsible in creating employment that is much needed in the society and to ensure sustainability cleanliness is important. Government has a responsibility of managing resources in the society efficiently and effectively that there is return on investment for all the resources utilized. What does it take to collect resources so that government is able to efficiently manage enough to sustain the society? The article discusses the steps that the government is recommended to implement in order to ensure the city is clean from the government buildings and pressure required to maintain neatness.
There are jobless youth in the society who the government can hire for a specific stipend on daily basis to earn a living by cleaning the government buildings. Resources are expected to be allocated to the youth department on such programs so that they can rely on government as an employer as they provide their service. The youths need to be divided into groups with a team leader chosen to ensure they are responsible on their duties. It is advantageous if the program for the youth is done in contractual terms so that each and every youth benefits from the government spending cleanliness (Sahakian, & Wilhite, 2014).
Law implementation is enough to ensure the buildings are clean and their state is habitable. There are laws set and if none they should seek to make laws for the managers responsible for organizations in the buildings make sure they are clean by allocating a schedule to clean them occasionally. Tenders can be applied from the government procurement department to provide cleaning services by professional bodies to ensure cleanliness (Sahakian, & Wilhite, 2014).
Conclusion
Responsibility is a compulsory pre-requisite for managers in positions of leadership. Skills of leadership is built from the onset one is appointed to represent an organization and the simple things such as cleanliness can be assumed but they make a difference.
