It is important to communicate with others because good communication enables us to work more effectively with people or groups. Effective communication skills will help me personally because it will make my relationships with my family and friends a lot better. If I can communicate with them well, thinking before I say things, how I word things and so many others, I will have great relationships. Communication is going to be very important professionally once I get my career. As a teacher you have to be able to communicate with your students in a whole and individually every day, as well as your colleagues! With GCU I know I will have great communication skills as a teacher. Educationally communication also plays a huge roll. We are always communication either by discussion questions, or talking with our instructor, or just finding out about each other. This will make me be a better communicator and succeed educationally. I think GCU emphasizes quality discussion posts and proper etiquette in the Discussion Forums because they want us to get in good habits of practicing writing and communicating with others well.
