The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of learning something by music is the ABC’s. Most every person in the United States learns this while they are young or at least some time in their life. Putting it into a musical song makes it a whole lot easier to remember. I definitely probably have more song lyrics memorized then names and phone numbers. The tune of the songs just get stuck in your head if you mean for it to or not. I think putting music in the classroom to enhance learning is a great idea, most people learn better this way.
It seems like we both have very similar learning styles. I also learn best by doing it myself and experience it in my own way. Clutter and choas also makes me feel very unfocused! I can’t clear my mind if not. I also couldn’t agree more that I like to see how things are done before doing them but I also like things done myself! Knowing your weaknesses like you said then will build up to your strengths!
