This passage was amazing, being able for your mind to make out every work even though all the letters are scrammbled up. I think like you said we have all accidently done this before and even after proofreading it you still can not even notice. Thank god for spell check! I agree, even with spell check it’s always nice to have someone else read your writing as well! It’s always different reading it from the outside.

I actually haven’t noticed any of your mistakes in your posts. However, if I did see them, I wouldn’t think any differently just because you were a college teacher. Everyone makes mistakes, especially when you’re not using Word and just write it directly in the discussion question. The majority of the time I just write it directly in the discussion question, which I know I make way more mistakes that way. From now on, I’m going to try to write it in Word first. After writing this I had 3 mistakes that spell check corrected!

After reading Chapter 6 I understood that revising and proof reading our big things in writing papers. Some strategies you can use to proof read and revise your work are try to view your draft as a second party reading it. Then also, have somebody else read your paper as well. In Chapter 6 it also lists questions to ask yourself, for example, is my evidence strong? Or does everything relate to the thesis?
