PHI 105 Topic 2 DQ 1

This was an interesting question for me, I had never really thought about it. After thinking this question out I do believe the statement “perception is reality” is true. Perception is defined as the ability to see, hear or become aware of something through senses. Each of us may perceive things differently, but to us that is our reality. My nephew has autism and his perception of things may not be the same as mine, but it is still his reality which is why I believe this statement to be true. I do think that we have to be aware and know that our perceptions may not always be true or correct as well.

What do you think?
