Thinking means the ability to come up with ideas and differentiate the new ideas from the older ideas. It happens in a person’s mind and is sometimes not useful to any other person if not brought out in spoken or action. Language on the other hand is the combination of sounds to form words and then sentences or signal s for the main purpose of communicating while having the ability to encode ideas into these signals. They are related closely in that language communicated though to others and in some instances, language affects the way people think making it a vital and logical part of thinking. Thought encode ideas while language decodes them for others to get (Pollock, 2014).
