The topic that I have chosen for my essay is Abortion

          The issue of abortion has been one that has seen controversy and has created a public, political and moral divide. Some people feels that abortion f should be illegal while others feel that it should be restricted (Cornell, 2016). Society has often associated or related the concept of abortion within the larger quantity of determining when life truly begins.

Pros and cons of Abortion

Cons of Abortion

    Abortion appears like an awful crime. Abortion entails or implies denying someone a well-deserved life (Cornell, 2016). Since the odds are not considered in our favor, we are supposed to deprive someone the chance to live. By dismissing a life, we can justify our acts. A baby is considered as God’s gift and it is believed that every living has a purpose behind            the birth of a baby.

    Having abortion done can at times mean that a woman might not be able to become pregnant any more. Abortion can also lead to serious health implications and it can also result to death. Abortion results to unwanted memories which can lead to great stress and depression.

Pros of abortion

    At times life can be very harsh on us. There are times when abortion may appear as the only option for the betterment of our lives. Although a mother may find it difficult opting for this option, she may consider this soul-killing decision, taking all other factors constant.

      In some situations, medical emergencies might compel a woman to turn to this option. This might occur if her own life is risk, if she decides to deliver.

     Another pros is as a result of rape, women would not be physically and mentally prepared to take care of the baby as a result of a rape pregnancy.

 

Section II: Identify your Audience

• Who do you intend to read your essay?
• My audience for this purpose is women below the age of thirty years in our village. I have selected a thirty years old lady who had once committed this action to read my essay to the audience.

2) Are there clues in this particular assignment about who your audience is?

I decided to select my audience for my research as I realized that abortion has been an increasing action that have been taking place in my village, and it is mostly done by ladies below the age of thirty.

• Do you have more than one audience? If so, how many do you have? List them.

Yes, my audience consists of fifty women below the age of thirty years. I have sub divided the group into three categories which constitute of the following 25- 30-year-old. 20-25 years’ old 15- 20 years old.

• What is the appropriate way to address this audience (professional, familial, friendly)? Why?

   The most appropriate ways to address my audience is by use of friendly manner. Through a friendly manner, the ladies will be close to me or will feel close to me and as a result they will feel comfortable to share their experience with me (Sedgh, et al.2012). Also use of friendly manner will enable my audience to understand the problems and consequences of abortion and I will be able to convince them why abortion is not good and it is a serious threat to their lives.

I have done research and concluded that abortion is an action that is practiced highly in our village. Abortion has led to a huge number of deaths of innocent lives. It has also led to the death of some ladies trying to commit the crime and also it has caused some ladies ability to give birth. With my research topic, I believe that I will change many lives and adequately reduce the number of abortion in our village. My research paper will get me loser to ladies which will enable me teach them the crime and threat posed by abortion.
