Healthcare organizations are charged with providing a safe atmosphere and sufficient resources to enable patient care. Having enough and professional medical personnel is critical in this task. Minimum credentialing and privileging criteria for confirming the Competency of providers are established by legislation (Medpro, 2020). The medical staff of each organization should accept its medical staff Bylaws, as well as any amendments, and the governing board should ratify them.

Discuss the application of the credentialing and privileging process to this scenario

In this situation, it is critical to implement comprehensive credentialing and ongoing medical assessment and review systems for all professional team members (Medpro, 2020). Regular credentialing and privileging would need yearly competency testing, such as nursing competence testing, which would entail a qualified expert in the field checking off numerous competencies.
