Prior to moving to the next step in the process, the hiring manager would like for you to review the scenario below and describe your approach, based on your knowledge and experience, and share the steps you would take to best assist this resident.
You have a resident who recently moved into your SRO facility. Prior to coming to your program, he was in a nursing home for 3 years, due to two massive strokes. His health conditions include severe hypertension, neuropathy, and blindness in one eye. He takes thirteen medications to manage his health issues. However, he has very little insight into his condition and does not know how to manage it. He moves in without being connected to any services, meaning he has no primary doctor, no pharmacy to get his medication, no case manager.
