POS 301 Topic 1 DQ 1

In my opinion there are still groups who are disenfranchised and are not considered as an equal source of power in our democracy. Two groups that come to my mind are younger children, under the age of 18, as well as people who have been convicted of a felony. It is a debate if these people should have the right to vote as an American just like everyone else. That being said, the saying, “Everyone has the right to vote”, is not necessary true. If we live in this country and represent this country, we all deserve the right to vote. It has been fought for, for years and it is what is right.
