Explore the divisions of APA (http://www.apa.org/about/division/). Which would you join? How would you use those divisions to continue your education/training in the field of psychology? Are there other ways to gain expertise in a psychological emphasis (i.e., forensic, development)? Explain.

Answer:

The three most societies in psychology in which I would choose to join are the society for general psychology,the society for personality and social psychology,and school psychology. I would use the three divisions to further my education and training by staying updated and in constant contacts with the chairs of the societies,in doing this I would attend seminars conventions etc,etc also staying updated with the sciences of psychology.There are other ways to gain expertise in the field of psychological empasis such as attending national seminars taking additional classes and staying updated in the ever changing field of psychology, me personally I plan to go into forensic psychology within the next few years because this is a broad field in psychology and is very challenging and this is what I love a challenge.
