Understanding a GCU Assignment Worksheet

Review the sample syllabus and sample rubric under the questions below. Then, provide answers underneath the following questions:

Objectives explain what the student will be able to do by the end of the topic.

For the assignment you need to identify three components you believe are most critical to the formation of worldview. Then write an essay between 500-750 words explaining how those components fit together to form a coherent worldview.
- If you were to complete the assignment found in the sample syllabus, how would you set aside time to ensure it is completed on time?
If I was suppose to complete the assignment I would plan my schedule out the week before to make sure I set aside enough time to work on my school work.
- Will it be necessary to use the GCU library to complete the assignment found in the sample syllabus?
I wouldn’t say it is necessary to use the GCU library for this assignment because it already gives you the chapters to read, but you could if you wanted more resources.
- What resources are provided to complete the assignment found in the sample syllabus?
The resources that are proved to complete the assignment are the text , Foundations of Christian Thought: Faith, Learning, and the Christian Worldview and also the lecture.
- How will the instructor determine the student’s grade for the assignment?
The instructor will determine the student’s grade for this assignment by following the rubric they gave.
- What is not clear to you about the assignment in the sample syllabus and how would you obtain more information?
The only thing that isn’t too clear to me would be the date it is due. Other than that, it looks like they have everything listed to me.
- How can the rubric help a student meet the instructor’s expectation for the assignment?
The rubric can help a student meet the instructor’s expectations because it lists every single thing the teacher will be grading on, so if you look at it before hand you can make sure you did everything correctly.
