UNV 503 Topic 3 DQ 1
How is conducting graduate-level research different from research you did in your undergraduate program? Provide specific examples.
The DQ response must be 150-200 words and have at least one citation and one reference in APA format.
Answer:
Conducting my graduate level research is more in depth and different than my undergraduate research, because with my undergraduate research was less detailed and required less studies on the research topic that I was assigned to do. Undergraduate research did not obtain as much information as a graduate level research or term paper as well as an research assignment. I, believe that my professors in undergraduate school, didn’t emphasize as much detail to my work and did not require much time on my behalf. Undergraduate research required more hands on and one on one time than graduate research. “Graduate research is more detailed and has to be written and proven with the more reliable detailed research and also proper writing skills are a must, although undergraduate research did not require, as much commitment graduate research takes patience and skills, unlike undergraduates, graduate school professors expect graduate students to be more professional and more committed to their course studies and look for students to take the initiative to do the very best they can and push students to excel. “The results provide evidence that the students were in the role of apprentices, although this was not made explicit” (N.A., 2013).
