Turnitin in a very valuable resource for students because its gives the student the chance to make sure that they have not used someone else’s work, it also valuable because it helps with the student, writing skills and prevents the student, from engaging in plagiarism. Turnitin also helps properly promote insuring that the students have not used another student, author, or instructors work, which is very good in your writing skills as, far, quoting and paraphrasing your work. Most importantly turnitin is very important to me because this web-based detection program helps me try my best and do well when it comes to my skills of writing at a graduate level. This program is very valuable to have because it makes you excel and not be depend on quick fixes, as copy and pasting work or writing down another sources information, articles, or any literally works. ”Turnitin can be used a deterrent, but also as an educational tool to teach students how to work with sources and to help improve paraphrasing and quoting skills” (N.A., 2016).
