HRD Plan Part 1

Laundry Matt

When a company first starts out, they need to establish a solid HR Development Program that fulfills the companies needs to flourish in the fast and complex industries of modern society. Having a Human Resource Development Program is important with keeping the expectations and the goals of the company. A well thought out and clean plan helps benefit managers in showing them what the companies goals are, and the competencies employees need to display and what they as managers will need to do in order to promote, support and encourage the behaviors that are needed to be shown. Having a well presented plan will draw in the attention of the right kind of employment the companies leaders are looking for and will weed out the ones who do not fit the criteria.

Companies Mission:

-To ensure that each customer receives prompt, professional, friendly, and courteous service.

-To maintain a professional and friendly environment for our customers and staff.

-To provide a fair price using only quality components.

-To ensure that all customers and staff are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.

-To thank each customer for the opportunity to serve them. By maintaining these objectives we shall be assured of a fair profit that will allow us to contribute to the community we serve.

Companies Vision:

Within the next five years, we will become a leading provider of products and services to small businesses by providing customizable, user-friendly solutions scaled to small business needs.

This company has a lot to offer when it comes to their mission and the current goals that they have. Being a small family business, they want to be able to give back to their community in which they live. They want to make sure that their customers are always happy with the prompt and quality work that they have to offer. They value their business and want their customers to know that their opinion matters. They want to make sure that there is respect with both employees and customers by treating each person with dignity and respect.

The structure of this company is very simply stated in their culture and their dedicated area. They talk about how being a small family owned business their employees are all partners in the business. So each person has an opinion and will want to be able to do their best to make sure that the business succeeds. Since they all own it in some small way, by human nature, they will want to do their best, for it is by their reactions to customer questions, grips, or complaints which will make the profit for the day, which in turn will dictate the kind of paycheck they will be receiving. So when a new person is hired and becomes a part of “the family”, they go to a company wide training program to ensure that their success is also the company’s success.

Being a new business they have a lot of things that they will have to be able to over come. Even though they have experienced management, it doesn’t mean that they have experienced employees. Their training program is there to help recruit skilled workers, however, they should have a full training program in place to help show people what they want them to do and how to do it. Their should be a strategic training plan in place that is versatile to help each new person be the success that the company wants them to be.

The company talks about their future goals of expanding and buying out competitors. In order to this, the company will need to “keep up with the Jones’s”. Although they want to keep their goals of high quality at affordable prices, they have to realize that the economy’s prices are always increasing with the new age paraphernalia. This means that their prices of their services will have to increase as well. When and if they do expand, take out smaller business to provide their service to “smaller business” they will be taking away from their profit, unless when they “buy out” a business, they hire on the employees that all ready work for that business. They have to then spend more time and money to train the new employees. This will however bring in a diverse group of workers into the business.

This laundry matt facility seems to be on the right track to success. They have their vision that supports their mission to give prompt and quality services to their customers. To give their employees a chance to help make the decisions for the well being of their companies financial future, and to ensure the customers guaranteed satisfaction and needs are met.
