Dear Grand Canyon University College of Nursing and Healthcare Professions Admissions,

            I am happily writing this essay as a letter of intent to express and signify my interest and willingness to join the Advanced Registered Nursing program at Grand Canyon University. I am eager to be part of the excellence of your well-known online programs for graduate nursing nationally. The University’s reputation is well-aligned with my future and aspirations of furthering my academic background, thus making a meaningful influence in the healthcare sector. It is my sincere interest in joining the program as it is aligned with my short and long-term goals through driving practical impact to the industry.

Short-Term and Long-Term Goals.

            My main objective in the short-term is immersing myself in the program at the University thus gaining specialized skills and knowledge important for the effective driving of my career. In simple terms, my short-term goal is to gain the needed and increased skills and knowledge in order to become a qualified and proficient practitioner in healthcare. I recognize the different challenges in the landscapes of healthcare, thus understanding my main role as a nurse in delivering increased healthcare to the patient. Furthermore, my long-term goal is aspiring to assume my role in leadership in the sector of healthcare, leading to improved results in patient healthcare. Therefore, I believe that the University program’s curriculum and well-experienced facilitators will help equip me with the increased expertise required to achieve my goals. I believe the program will create an ideal space and platform for the realization of my goal through the dedication of the staff and setting objectives that are aligned with my goals.

Key Attributes.

            From my perspective, I believe effectual communication, compassion, problem-solving, and critical thinking are the fundamental attributes of a successful AGACNP/FNP. In addition, I believe that a successful FNP/AGACNP need to have the capability to working with others within the team, maintain a healthcare approach that is patient-centred and adapt to the changing dynamics of healthcare. I am assertive that the University Program, with its focus on gaining clinical experience and practical skills and abilities, will enhance the development of these attributes and become a successful FNP/AGACNP for my future responsibility and role.

Dedication to Success.

            I am dedicated to committing my time and effort to excelling in the program. My commitment to success is driven by my ability to balance my academic roles with my practical experiences, in which I plan to be involved actively in medical rotations, engage in productive workshops, and work together with my peers and facilitators to achieve my goals. My solid ethic at work and organizational abilities or skills will make certain that I meet and exceed the program’s expectations.

Major Trends.

            With the growing world of technology, I recognize the major trends in the sector of healthcare as the increased significance of telehealth, technology integration, and emphasis on preventive patient care for the increased results of patient care(Bayramzadeh&Aghaei, 2021). As an aspiring FNP/AGACNP, my main role is adapting to the trends by being informed on the advancement in technology, advocating for the education of the patients in regard to preventive care, and encouraging innovative approaches. My aim of becoming a proactive practitioner and contributor to the different positive trends in the sector thus aligned with the changing needs of the entire community.

            I am eager about the anticipation of joining the program and leading to the goals of excellence in my future ambitions. I am assertive that the program will prepare me for the changing dynamics of healthcare and empower me to achieve my goals of making significant changes in healthcare for patients.
