Discuss some practical ways that you practice self-care. How do your practices align with practical guidelines for self-care recommended by other psychologists? What are some risks associated with NOT practicing self-care?
Answer:
There are many ways I practice pratical self-care,but the most important pratical ways are mananging my time,as far as activities,healthy eating habits,sleeping and excercising.My practices that are aligned with the practical guildlines for self-care recommended by other psychologist are that I manage my time more effectively,I try to practice good healthy eating habits, and schedule activities that are not work-related and develope daily stategies for transitioning from work to home life. There are many risk that could occur if the practicing of proper self-care are not instilled or practiced by and to the student or the psychologist, but the most important risk could lead to overloaded case loads, tiredness, and a sense of frustaration because of lack of rest and time manangement but the most important risk factor would definitly be overwhelming fatigue associated with the inability to work and get results effectively on the job or your career field.
