One would hope that television by itself is not powerful enough to change family dynamics. In the end your family ought to be what changes your family dynamics. But that changes and I think that you do have to consider the power particularly of television it is ubiquitous it is everywhere.
My predecessor, when I was a television critic, my predecessor after I had the job for a few weeks I went to him and I asked him did it ever bother you when you told people what you did and you said you know TV critic and they sort of sniffed and said I do not like television. He said, “No, it never did. I asked, “Why?” No, because they are lying. Everyone watches television. Does that have some power over things?
